A Perfect Record

Dear *|TITLE:FNAME|*,

They’ve done it! All 37 seniors enrolled in Interfaith's Transitional Youth Academy (TYA) have graduated. That means TYA maintains its perfect record of 100% graduation rate since the program’s inception 7 years ago, in large part due to support from community members like you.

Student plans for the future include:

  • Enlisting in the military

  • Enrolling in Cosmetology or trade school

  • Working full-time

Remaining students will be going on to post-secondary education at the following schools:

  • CSUSM

  • MiraCosta or Palomar College

  • Grand Canyon University

  • UC Riverside

  • Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM)

One student called TYA case managers “a "gift from heaven." We agree! Thank you to all who have sponsored a scholar this year. If you'd like to become involved, email Janet Reeves jreeves@interfaithservices.org to find out more. Change Your Mind!

Thank you to all those who attended our 3rd annual Change Your Mind Mental Health Festival last month! We were thrilled to see so many community members celebrating mental health and wellness through art, dance, and "Ask the Experts" conversations.

Through our partnership with the Nowell Family Foundation, we transformed the entire downtown area for one purpose: to challenge the stigma surrounding mental health and emphasize the strength in vulnerability and asking for help. We look forward to seeing you again next year! Click the buttons below to either watch our fun highlight video or click the other button to see some photos of the event!
