TURK EARLY MORNING BREAKFAST HELP
Looking for a way to start your day off with a smile? Join us as an early morning breakfast volunteer at our Turk Center by preparing and serving breakfast! Our
recuperative care program is dedicated to helping men, women, and veterans get back on their feet as they focus on their well-being and self-sufficiency. Whether you're a morning person or just looking for a way to give back, we would love to have you join the RCP volunteer team. We believe that a nourishing breakfast is a great way to start the day and fuel our clients as they work towards personal goals related to recovery, wellness, employment, housing, and life skills!

Supervising Staff:
• Manager on Duty

Time Commitment:
• This is an ongoing (6+ months), weekly commitment opportunity
• One shift per week or multiple shifts per week
• Sunday through Saturday mornings (6:30 am to 8:30 am)

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide and oversee Continental Breakfast for the patients at Turk Center by handing out food and replenishing food when it runs out.
• Clean up area after breakfast by washing and putting dishes in sanitizer.
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Genuine concern for others
• Effectively working with people of all backgrounds.
• Report any operational problems such as spoiled or out dated food and items needing replenishment

Training and Support:
• Ongoing oversight from supervising staff to provide direction, training and feedback.
• False Claims Act
• HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications:
• Must clear criminal background check.
• Good verbal and written communication skills including vocabulary, grammar and spelling in English.
• Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to easily work with a diverse population.
• Demonstrate poise, tact, diplomacy and empathy when working with patient.
• Ability to establish quick rapport with patients.
• Absolute solid values: honest, loyal, hardworking, and sincere.

Screening Requirements:
• FBI / DOJ Background check
• Drug Test
• TB Test
