Data Entry Specialist
Under the direct supervision of the Homeless Prevention Program Manager, the Data Entry Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day data entry duties. Maintaining confidential participant data and filing system and coordinating non-case management related supportive services.

Supervising Staff:
• Yuridia Sebastian, Homeless Prevention Program Manager

Time Commitment:
• This is an ongoing (6+ months), weekly commitment or internship opportunity
• One shift per week or multiple shifts per week
• Schedules vary: Weekdays, mornings (8:00 am to 12:00 pm) and afternoons (1:00 pm to 4:00 pm). Monday, Wednesday and Fridays preferred.

Location: 425 N. Date Street Suite 112 Escondido, CA 92025

Key Responsibilities:
• Provides timely and accurate entry of data per agency and funders' requirements
• Ensures confidentiality of client and program records and data
• Attends trainings to ensure up-to-date knowledge, protocols and requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Training and Support:
• Ongoing oversight from supervising staff to provide direction, training and feedback on specific program and department activities, procedures, priorities, performance, and agency updates.
• Office equipment including telephone system, photocopy machine, computer equipment, etc.
• False Claims Act
• HIPAA guidelines.
• Mandated Reporter training

Qualifications:
• Must clear criminal background check.
• Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills including vocabulary, grammar and spelling in English.
• Proficient with computer applications and databases.

• FBI / DOJ Background check
