Holiday Sponsor a Family is Back!
Last year, our community provided thousands of gifts for over 700 local individuals through Interfaith’s Holiday Sponsor a Family event. Help us make it bigger and better for 2024 by getting involved in any (or all) of the ways below!
Sponsor a Family
or Individual
Each year, the most conscientious, productive Interfaith clients are nominated by their case managers for the Holiday Sponsor-a-Family program. The individuals and families are then anonymously matched with generous adopters who use the client’s submitted wishlist as a guideline to provide a happier holiday.
Make a Gift
We’ll use your donations to fill in gaps where needed—clients who enroll late, or teens or grandparents who don’t care about toys but still deserve the joy of unwrapping a gift. Click the link below and select “Holiday Sponsor a Family Fund” in the designation dropdown menu.
Contribute
Can’t sponsor a family but still want to help? Host a drive, or just pick up an extra can of food next time you’re shopping—every single item helps and will be distributed to a neighbor in need. Click below to see our most-requested donations.
Volunteer
Sponsor-a-Family is a large-scale effort requiring time, energy, and goodwill! Organize your friends, family, colleagues, classmates, faith members to help sort and wrap gifts for distribution.
Drop By!
Bring the family out to our Winterfaith Wonderland Donation and Gift-Wrapping Extravaganza on Saturday, December 7 from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. at our new Interfaith Warehouse, located at 2215 Auto Park Way in Escondido. Drop off any quantity of non-perishable food, warm blankets, winter clothing (new with tags please), or toys. Santa will be onsite and kids can enjoy a treat and enjoy our craft station, as they experience the joy of giving.
