The mission of Welcome Home Ministries is “to create a faith-based support system for women in transition from incarceration to productive citizenship through Christian love, prayer, and fellowship." What is especially unique about Welcome Home is that it is peer-driven and supported. Services offered by Welcome Home Ministries include:

• Peer mentoring at the place of incarceration
• Case management begun at pre-release and continued after release
• Picking up at the women at release from the facility of incarceration of rehab facility
• Providing toiletries, clothing, food, and a reintegration network for the women
• On-going peer mentoring for at least the first year post-release
• Establishing networking for employment, educational opportunities, transitional housing, and rehab programs as needed
• Life skills training
