Welcome Home Ministries

Welcome Home Ministries is addressing one of the most pressing issues of our society by ministering to the body, mind, and spirit of women caught in the cycle of crime and addiction. The mission of Welcome Home Ministries is “to create a faith-based support system for women in transition from incarceration to productive citizenship through Christian love, prayer, and fellowship." What is especially unique about Welcome Home is that it is peer-driven and supported. Services offered by Welcome Home Ministries include:

  • Peer mentoring at the place of incarceration
  • Case management begun at pre-release and continued after release
  • Picking up at the women at release from the facility of incarceration of rehab facility
  • Providing toiletries, clothing, food, and a reintegration network for the women
  • On-going peer mentoring for at least the first year post-release
  • Establishing networking for employment, educational opportunities, transitional housing, and rehab programs as needed
  • Life skills training
Faith-Based Community Development Corporation (FBCDC)

This non-profit community based organization offers a comprehensive program that helps provide a path that leads to self-sufficiency. The mission of FBCDC is “to provide solutions that address the economic and housing needs of underserved populations”. Services offered by FBCDC include:

Eagles Peak Charter School Career Path Program

Eagles Peak is a WASC accredited California Public Charter School operating in San Diego, Riverside, and Orange counties in California. The Career Path Program is an alternative, independent study program for high school students ages 14-19 where learning is based upon the career interests and life goals of the individual student.
